Description
The Metadata Catalogue (CSW) of the Regional Association of Greater Brunswick serves to document the spatial data and spatial data services available at the association. It enables research in the existing spatial data pool and provides all essential information on the data and services.
The metadata catalogue is an elementary component of the spatial data infrastructure (GDI) of the Regional Association of Greater Brunswick. Via an integrated standardised catalog interface (CSW interface), the catalog can be addressed with the help of other applications. Via the CSW interface, the Regonalverband’s catalogue is also connected to the spatial data infrastructure of the state of Lower Saxony (GDI-NI).
