Most common types of residential buildings in Turku 2018
Description
The data are based on the City of Turku’s small area statistics for 2018. The most common types of dwellings in the regions have been calculated by proportioning the number of each house type to the total number of house types in the area.
In the data, the house types are divided into four categories: detached houses, terraced or chain houses, residential blocks of flats and other buildings (business, office, etc.). Some areas (Telakka, Rahtisatama, Orjasmäki, etc.) are not known.
The material is suitable for a general examination of the Turku building stock. A more detailed analysis of the relationships between house types in each small area can be done by studying the original table data of the City of Turku.
