REDIAM. WMS HIC 1420-1 Mediterranean and thermo-Atlantic halophilic scrubs (Sarcocornietea fructicosae) in coastal areas and coastal lagoon edges
Description
WMS service corresponding to the coastal non-priority Habitat of Community Interest 1420. It is a habitat consisting of halophytic shrubs dominated by quenopodiaceae, which may be accompanied by annual grassland and legumes with a variable species diversity. They develop in humid and very saline soils, both littoral (marshes, coastal salt flats and bays) and interior (edges of brackish lagoons, endorheic ponds, etc.) and that presents a Mediterranean-Atlantic distribution. Among the most frequent species are those of the genus Sarcocornia, Salicornia, Suaeda, Limonium and Arthrocnemum macrostachyum. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. Integrated in the Spatial Data Infrastructure of Andalusia, following the guidelines of the Cartographic System of Andalusia.
