REDIAM. WMS HIC 6230 Herbaceous formations with Nardus, with numerous species, on siliceous substrates of mountainous areas (and in submountainous areas of continental Europe) (*)
Description
WMS service corresponding to Habitat of Community Interest priority 6230, which includes lively grasslands of low size, dense and intense green color, of more or less humid soils in environments at high altitude, siliceous. The most characteristic and common are those presided over by the Nardus stricta grass. Although, in principle, the original description considered only the Euro-Siberian cervunales, located further north, later they have also included the Mediterranean sheep, dense herbase formations, edafohygrophiles, of summer development, mostly silicícolas, which occur in high mountain enclaves. In Andalusia they are known as ‘borreguiles’ and are located in the Sierra Nevada. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia.
