Intensity images from the echoes of the Lasercsanner measurement image - Free State of Saxony

Description

As a complementary product, intensity images are created during the laser scanner measurement recording. All objects on the Earth's surface have different spectral reflection properties due to their physical properties. The intensity with which the incident laser beam is reflected depends on these. From the intensity information of the reflected laser beam echo, a grayscale image, the so-called intensity image, is derived. The existing intensity images were generated from the intensities of the first and only echoes. The update has been carried out in batches every 6 years since 2020/2021 (2 lots per year).
