Emergency meeting points (Freiburg)
Description
In the event that your community is affected by a disaster or emergency, you will receive important information about the local situation at the emergency meeting point. If you need help or if you can offer help yourself, the emergency meeting point serves as a hub. Every municipality in the canton of Freiburg has at least one emergency meeting point. Each emergency meeting point is equipped with a POLYCOM radio to alert the emergency and blue light organisations. The time at which the emergency meeting points are in operation depends on the local hazard and may vary from region to region. You will receive the relevant information via Radio or Alertswiss. The information is also disseminated by your community.
