JHS 191 Data Control Plan Structure
Description
The recommendation defines the structure of the information management plans to be drawn up in public administration. The aim of the recommendation is to harmonise the data management plans drawn up in public administration, the metadata used in them and their datasets. The structure of the data management plan and its mandatory metadata as defined in the recommendation meet the requirements of the SÄHKE2 standard of the Archives Institute. Data control plans are developed and updated, in particular when switching to electronic processing processes, when automatic control of document data management is to be implemented in information systems and when the organisation wants its information systems to meet the documentation quality requirements (SFS-ISO 15489/1).
The recommendation is written in the format of the technical specification described in the JHS 136 Recommendation, which is why the requirements are separated from the rest of the text and the form of the requirements is underlined. The requirements set out in the JHS Recommendation are not binding on public administration organisations.
