Potential geothermal energy South Holland - oil and gas fields
Description
Commissioned by the province of Zuid-Holland, the study "Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland" was carried out by IF-Technology, 2 December 2016. For the determination of the potentially deep geothermal energy, account was taken of the location of the gas and oil fields in the Cretaceous (containing the Schieland Group and the Rijnland Group) and the Triassic. The data comes from NLOG.nl, April 29, 2016. In the above-mentioned study, only the oil and gas fields from the Cretaceous are included in the potential maps for deep geothermal energy for the Rijnland Group and the Schieland Group, and for the potential map for the Triassic, the oil and gas fields in both the Cretaceous and Triassic regions. This distinction is also important for a more detailed assessment of the possibilities of geothermal energy. Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal energy.
