World Heritage Site (Natural Good) in Andalusia: Doñana, January 1994
Description
Layer of World Heritage (well natural) declared by Unesco in Andalusia. Doñana is the only protected area in Andalusia that is declared a World Heritage Site.
NOTE: As a World Heritage Site, the area of the National Park without the protection zones (Rocina stream and the coastal sea) is currently contemplated, with the modification of its limits in 2005, where three zones were added: the farm Los Caracoles, the floodplain of the stream of the Party and the western triangle. The delimitation of this information (Heritage_Humanity_1994_01) corresponds to an old configuration of the National Park prior to the Law of 1978, where there is what was then called a pre-park (part of the Veta la Palma estate and Hinojos pine forests of the Coto del Rey estate) that are currently part of the Doñana Natural Park.
