Water abstraction repositories
Description
A water abstraction attracts groundwater from an area that is larger than the groundwater protection area. The re-entry areas actually ‘supply’ groundwater for the supply of drinking water. The size of the retraction areas is determined on the basis of the time (100 years) that a water droplet takes from the edge of the area to the point of abstraction (the extraction well). Upon delivery of this file, this must be reported to the content manager. Version 2017.
