National Park Hunsrück-Hochwald National Park Border

This data set shows the delimitation of the national park on the side of the Saarland, with an open side according to RLP.(Lines Shape) The National Park is a joint project of the Länder Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland. Rhineland-Palatinate and the Saarland have established a common national park with a total size of about 10.000 ha through a state treaty. About 986 hectares of it lie in the Saarland, within the territory of the municipalities of Nohfelden and Nonnweiler.
