Habitat types according to Annex I of the Habitats Directive with indication of the conservation status (status: 2021)

Description

• Country-wide summary of Habitat Types (LRTs) of Habitat Management Planning for Sites of Community Importance - in short: SCI - (formerly FFH areas) with completed management planning which was made available to the LUNG until 01.02.2022 • FFH management plans are concluded by a decree of the Ministry of Climate Protection, Agriculture, Rural Areas and the Environment M-V (LM). • Forest LRTs are recorded and evaluated separately by the Landesforstanstalt (LFoA) and are not part of this data set • The procedure for mapping the LRT is described in the ‘Guidelines for the mapping of biotope and Habitat Types in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’. • The evaluation is based on the FFH evaluation guide of Land M-V • The delimitation and assessment of the conservation status of LRT is based, depending on the time of the planning, on the data of the LRT mapping 2013-2015 or on the data of the internal differentiation of the LRT. As part of the management planning, these data were checked and, if necessary, adapted / supplemented. • In principle, LRTs are delimited as spatially contiguous sub-areas (single-part); Permitted exception: spatially contiguous habitat-type areas which are divided by the area boundary into spatially separated sub-areas within the SCI (e.g. in the case of rivers) • For each area entered in the shape file, an MVBIO data set (basic and evaluation sheet) must be kept in principle • Photo documentation is available for some LRTs • The PDF sheets are finally created from the MVBIO program • The full GISCODE key field can be used to establish a connection between the MVBIO database, PDF sheets, photo documentation and this shapefile.
