Municipalities (incl. enclaves/exclaves)
Description
The data set contains the Aargau municipalities, whereby the municipalities with more than one sub-area (enclaves / exclaves) are combined. The dataset is based on the dataset of the municipal boundaries. It contains the municipal, district, cantonal and state borders. The municipal boundaries were digitized primarily from the overview plans 1:5000 (1991) and are now being replaced on an ongoing basis, where available, by the numerical municipal boundaries of official surveying.
