Average maps for model- and scenario-based soil erosion and soil deposition

Representation of field block-related (arable land) mean values of soil erosion/deposion rates for the grid-related (10 m resolution) and scenario-based results of simulations with the EROSION 3D model for soil erosion and deposition rates in kg/m², for cumulative outflows in m³/m and for the cumulative mass of sediment transported by drain in kg/m from (1) areas of different uses in Saxony and (2) Saxon arable land for certain precipitation events and management forms. The basis for the calculations is the Saxon field block reference of 2017 for arable land. The model calculations for the Saxon arable land refer to site-related precipitation events with a recurrence interval (T) of (1) 10 and (2) 50 years under the tillage or management scenarios (1) Seedbed, conventional tillage, (2) Seedbed, conservative tillage, (3) Seedbed, conserving tillage with tarmac grassland, (4) Seedbed, conservative soil cultivation with green strips near water and (5) grassland.
