Population monitoring records of threatened land birds in Andalusia from censuses. Sleepers. Period 2002-2020
Description
Annual records of dormidros of certain endangered terrestrial bird species in Andalusia collected in the period 2002-2020. The data come from the Emergency Program, Epidemiological Control and Monitoring of Threatened Fauna (PECES).
Among other data, information is collected such as the name of the species, date of the sample, name of the territory, type of substrate, age of the sleeper, occupation data, count of adults, young people and totals, cause of abandonment where appropriate and main threats (habitat alteration, nuisances, poisons, etc.). The species collected are: black stork ('Ciconia nigra'), pale eagles ('Circus cyaneus'), blue elanium ('Elanus caeruleus'), primilla kestrel ('Falco naumani'), peregrine falcon ('Falco peregrinus'), common crane ('Grus grus'), griffon vulture ('Gyps fulvs'), red kite ('Milvus milvus'), fish eagle ('Pandion haliaetus').
