Island forests and hedges of western Andalusia and riverside forests of the province of Cádiz
Description
Island forests are the result of fragmentation and subsequent isolation of former forest formations. The degradation of these forested habitats meant the fragmentation of them, with more or less significant losses of their original size. This work includes the documents, databases and geographical information of the island forests and sampling points where vegetation transects were carried out in the provinces of Córdoba, Seville, Huelva and Cádiz, as well as their characterization. The inventory of riverside forests of the province of Cádiz is also incorporated, as well as the hedges of Córdoba, Huelva and Seville. The photographs taken in the framework of the project have been incorporated into the Audiovisual Bank of the CMAOT.
