Profile descriptions of soil science
Description
The soil profiles are recorded as part of the state survey and in project mapping. They are stored in the NIBIS profile database. The profiles contain detailed information on the structure of the soil.

The locations of the holes are shown in drill point maps.
When clicking on a borehole, an info box with the most important master data of the borehole opens in the map server of the LBEG. Their detailed information can be retrieved by clicking on the "further information" link.
The drill profiles represent the layer and horizon sequence in graphical and alphanumeric form in accordance with DIN No. 4023. As a textual description, data on the depth of the layers and horizons and on stratigraphy and petrography are given. The scale of the profile representation is variable. A selection of the most important master data is compiled on the first sheet of the profile presentation.
