Reporting Water Framework Directive 2010: inventory and characteristics of surface water bodies per WFD basin

Description

Information on surface WFD water bodies (river waters, lakes, transitional waters, coastal waters) whole France, by detailed elements grouped according to the following themes (simplified here): -identification, -geographical characteristics, -typology, -pressures and impacts, -global, ecological and chemical status or potential, depending on the nature of the water body. A file is available for each DCE pool. All the elements and the rules for filling the fields are explained in the xsd file SWB_3p0.xsd accessible for download by the link to the associated xsd file. Directive 2000/60/EC, known as the Water Framework Directive (WFD), establishes a framework for Community action in the field of water policy. It provides for several stages of implementation, each giving rise to a report: the report carried out in March 2010 relates to management plans, and incorporates data from previous reports.
