Excavations of the district of Viersen
Description
Extraction of mineral resources (sands, gravel and clays) requires authorisation. For excavations, a distinction is made between wet and dry excavations. In wet excavations, groundwater is exposed by the silting and thus a body of water is produced, in dry excavations not.
The excavations that are still in operation are shown.
The data is up-to-date on a daily basis.
