Natural monuments in the district of Wesermarsch
Description
Natural monuments are legally binding individual creations of nature or corresponding up to five hectares whose protection is necessary for scientific, natural history or regional reasons or because of their rarity, peculiarity or beauty, pursuant to § 28 BNatschG with §21 BNatschG.
The registration is carried out in accordance with § 14 (9) Nieders. Implementing Act on the Federal Nature Conservation Act.
In the district of Wesermarsch, the Lower Nature Conservation Authority in the Fachdienst 68 (Environment) is responsible for the designation and supervision of the natural monuments.
The data set “Naturdenkmale in the district of Wesermarsch” is a vector dataset that indicates the natural monuments in their location as points. The data are in the coordinate system ETRS_1989_UTM_Zone_32N (EPSG: 25832).
The current dataset was last updated on 4.2.2021 and will be renewed if necessary.
The following attributes are stored:
— Text: Short form of the natural monument number in the district of Wesermarsch (ND is the abbreviation for natural monument)
— Identification: the number or ID of the natural monument in the district of Wesermarsch (ND is the abbreviation for natural monument; Bra stands for the district of Wesermarsch)
— Name: Name and brief description of the natural monument
— Vo_date: the date on which the decree on the designation of the natural monument was adopted
— End_dat: the date until when the Regulation applies
— Regulation: Name of the publication in which the Ordinance on the Designation of the Natural Monument was published
