Objective sub-plan “Public services – identification of basic centres in the planning region Anhalt-Bitterfeld-Wittenberg”
Decision of 27.3.2014, approved by the highest regional planning authority on 23.6.2014
On July 26, 2014, the Objective Subplan “Services – Designation of Basic Centres in the Planning Region Anhalt-Bitterfeld-Wittenberg” entered into force. The application for review of standards by the city of Sandersdorf-Brehna on the validity of the substantive subplan was rejected by the Higher Administrative Court Magdeburg on 17.5.2017. No appeal has been lodged so that the substantive sub-plan is final.
The Objective Subplan “Public Services – Designation of Basic Centres in the Planning Region Anhalt-Bitterfeld-Wittenberg” of 23 June 2014 defines, among other things, basic centres and the delimitation of the middle centres.
In order to take account of soil protection and demographic development, the priority of internal development in existing local areas is defined with a target setting.
The central place is a part of the built-up district as the central settlement area of a municipality, including its extensions as part of an orderly urban development.
