Cation exchange capacity in effective root space

Description

The evaluation map shows the derived values for the cation exchange capacity (CAC) of a soil in the form of CAC stages. These input data are required for the assessment of the soil sub-function "Filter and buffer for pollutants" and were determined by means of a Saxon soil assessment tool (LfULG, 2021) depending on the type of fine soil and coarse soil content as well as the humus content of the mineral soil.
