Danube catchment area and Adriatic Sea catchment area
Description
The river basins of the Danube and the Adriatic Sea in the Republic of Slovenia are territorial bases of water management and, taking into account the hydrographic characteristics, uniformity and connection of the water regime, are determined as such to ensure integrated water management. A water catchment area is the area from which all inland waters flow through streams, rivers or lakes into a river that flows into the sea.
