Social Report 2018 of the state capital Schwerin: The interdisciplinary social report of the state capital, presented for the first time, focuses on poverty risks and shows that there is a lot of child poverty and low age poverty in Schwerin. More than one in four children in Schwerin now live on social benefits. On the other hand, 3.9 % of those over 65 are dependent on basic protection in old age. The report also analysed, where available, district-related data on demographics, employment, social security, housing and health.
