Solifluktionsindex (10 m raster data) (WMS Service)
Description
The solifluction index was developed to predict areas with preferential accumulation of solifluid deposits (flowing soils). It is calculated according to BÖHNER & SELIGE (2006) and uses the relative slope position, which correlates closely with the thickness of the periglacial solifluction ceilings. The relative slope position is combined with a factor calculated from specific catchment area size and weighted catchment area inclination (BÖHNER & SELIGE (2006)).
