Bodies of watercourses – Meeting – Version Reportage 2010

Description

A river water body is a distinct and significant part of surface waters such as a river, river or canal, part of a river, river or canal. The river water body is composed of elementary sections (in the same way as the BDCarthage®). This element inherits the characteristics of the BDCarthage® elementary hydrographic section. The geometry of the theme Water mass rivers is therefore the aggregation of the elementary sections that compose it. This operation is carried out using the code of the river water body. The criteria for the realisation of river water bodies are: — A body of water belongs to a single hydroecoregion – The dominant fish population based on the fish context (Salmon, Cypriniculture, Intermediate) – Size class (Strahler confluence) The water body code is structured as follows: Water Body Type Code + DCE Basin District Code + Increment
