Description
The main task of the sleepers is to transfer forces from the rail to the ballast via elastic interlayers.
In combination with the fortification system and the ballast, the sleepers must ensure that the correct track gauge and a good track position are maintained.
The Sliper data product contains the stretches that have uniform sleepers in terms of model, USP, manufacturer, year of manufacture and year of placement.
The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the network with reference to the nearest previous node and nearest previous kilometre board with distance in meters to both the starting and end positions of the route in the direction of the track link.
