Noise pollution on national roads in the Netherlands 2021 (24-hour average)
Description
Display by means of noise contours of the noise load Lden (24-hour average) in 2021 of the roads that were under management at Rijkswaterstaat on 31-12-2021. Displays only the current situation in 2021 without future projections calculated with the Silence 3 road noise model. These noise contours have been drawn up as part of the EU Environmental Noise Directive project. On 3 July 2022, the noise contours were established by the Minister of Infrastructure and the Environment. Legally, these noise maps must be developed once every five years.
