Description
WMS Service corresponding to Habitat of Non-Priority Community Interest 4090-0. Included in this habitat type are the high-altitude shrubs of the mountain massifs, as well as some mid-mountain shrubs, with very diverse physiognomy, from formations with a piornal or scobonal appearance, to shrubs dominated by prostrate or padded and thorny shrubs (eryzones), adapted to both the harsh conditions of the high mountain and the Mediterranean summer drought. In the Sierras Béticas, on basic substrates, the scrub is very varied, as evidenced in the 24 associations described for this habitat. The fauna related to this habitat is very varied. Especially important is the birdlife. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia.
