Soil height map, basic map for the Zoute Ecotopen Westerschelde 2010
Description
An ecotope map has been made of the Westerschelde, using 2010 as the map chart. This salty ecotope map is built up by merging several layers of information from the intertidal area: soil altitude map (height and depth), geomorphological map, dry fall duration map, flow velocity map, wave map and salt map. The height depth map is a combination of laser altimetry measurements of the dry parts and bearings of the deeper waters.For more information about the conclusion, please refer to the Explanatory Report Ecotopenkaart Westerschelde 2010 available on the Publication Database of IenM.
