Description
Overview map of the spatial distribution of dissolved manganese concentrations in the groundwater of Lower Saxony. The map shows the area-based evaluation of 718 groundwater analyses from depths up to 10 m below the terrain surface. The colour-graded overview map represents only the spatial distribution of the measured manganese concentrations and does not take into account any influences of the geological structures and properties of the subsoil. The interpolation method of inverse distance weighting was used to create the map.
