Description
You will see the average nitrogen dioxide concentration of the last hour indicated in colour. This information is updated every hour. The highest concentrations of nitrogen dioxide usually occur during the morning and evening rush hour. This substance is released by (road) traffic, energy production and industry. In addition, NO2 arises from a reaction between nitric oxide and ozone. The weather and traffic pressures have a major impact on concentration. The values you see are based on calculations. The calculations are calibrated to several measurements in the country. The calculation method used is the Derivative Standard Calculation Method 2, where it is traced back to hourly values.
