Emissions trends 1990-2006
Description
In the report ‘Emission trends 1990-2006’, the Federal Environment Agency provides an overview of the emission trends of the following air pollutants in Austria: • Treibhausgase – Kohlendioxid (CO2), Methan (CH4), Lachgas (N2O), Fluorierte Gase • Ozonvorläufersubstanzen – Stickoxide (NOx), flüchtige Kohlenwasserstoffe ohne Methan (NMVOC), Kohlenmonoxid (CO) • versauernd und eutrophierend wirkende Luftschadstoffe – Schwefeldioxid (SO2), Ammoniak (NH3), Stickoxide (NOx) • Staub – Gesamtschwebestaub (TSP), Feinstaub (PM10 und PM2,5) • Schwermetalle – Kadmium (Cd), Quecksilber (Hg), Blei (Pb) • persistente organische Verbindungen (POPs). The main polluters are analyzed and compared with current emissions - data obligatory environmental targets. The data are based on the results of the Austrian Air Pollution Inventory, which is carried out annually by the Federal Environment Agency.
