Geotope cadastre NRW: Geotopes in North Rhine-Westphalia
Description
The geotope cadastre documents objects worthy of protection from a geoscientific point of view in North Rhine-Westphalia. The collection was carried out on topographic maps in a scale of 1:25.000, the material data collected for each object is managed in a database. Location, natural space, geoscientific description and use are indicated as well as aspects relevant to protection. Regular updating and updating of the cadastre is closely linked to current planning procedures, especially in the context of landscape and regional planning.
