Precipitation measurement network
Description
The dataset (shape) currently includes ombrometers (automatic precipitation meters) operated by the state of Saxony. Location coordinates and other subject-specific information are included. The measured precipitation serves to condense the precipitation data collected by the German Weather Service and is used in particular for flow forecasts in the country's rivers.
