Conventional use of propagating material in organic farming — summary of authorisations granted
Description
The data set includes data on authorisations issued by the State Plant Protection Service to use propagating material of conventional origin in organic farming (gam seeds, and vegetat’vo propagating material).
One of the main principles of organic production is that organic production uses only organic seed and vegetative propagating material. In the case where growers are unable to obtain propagating material produced by the organic production method, the country may authorise the use in organic production of seeds and vegetative propagating material not produced by the organic production method.
