Risk of erosion of agricultural land 2023/24
Description
The backdrop of erosion 2023/24 according to the CAP Conditionalities Regulation of 9. December 2022 (K-water erosion hazard class) The determination of the potential (site-related) erosion hazard by water was based on DIN 19708. The potential risk of erosion of Saarland arable land was determined in the course of the preparation of the Saarland Erosion Protection Ordinance with the help of ABAG and is derived from data on soil estimation, slope inclination and length as well as from precipitation data. The draft CAP Conditionalities Regulation provides for a classification of these areas into classes of erosion hazards: KWater1 = risk of erosion due to precipitation, KWater2 = high risk of erosion due to precipitation
