Dataset of the river basins of metropolitan France BD Topage® version 2024
France is divided into 12 major watersheds, referred to as river basin districts. These are:
- the Artois-Picardie basin,
- the Rhine-Meuse basin,
- the Seine-Normandie basin,
- the Loire-Bretagne basin,
- the Adour-Garonne basin.
- the Rhône-Méditerranée basin,
- the Corsica Basin,
- the Guadeloupe basin,
- Martinique basin,
- the Guiana Basin,
- Reunion Basin,
the Mayotte Basin
River basin boundaries do not correspond to administrative boundaries.
