Mandates of the Schleswig Party in Nordschleswig
Description
At the Schleswig-Holstein State Parliament, there is a body [of the Schleswig-Holstein Party] for questions of the German minority in North Schleswig. The President is the President of the Landtag. The committee includes members of the Landtag and Bundestag from Schleswig-Holstein and representatives of the BDN. The German ethnic group is also represented in the Regional Assembly of the Schleswig-Sønderjylland region. She brings in her experiences in dealing with two cultures every day.
*The municipal reform in Denmark in 2007 changed the regulations for the profit of municipal mandates for the Schleswig party. In Hadersleben, during the 2006-2009 term, it was a mandate without voting rights on the basis of the 25 percent rule on the allocation of a full mandate.
