Coastal monitoring: phytoplankton
Description
Marine phytoplankton data have been developed under the WFD. In particular, the following can be found: Dinophysis, Alexandrium, Pseudo-nitzschia, Ostreopsis.
Quadrige brings together the main networks for monitoring the quality of the coastal marine environment participating in the WFD, including for chemical data:
REPHY: PHYtoplankton and phycotoxin monitoring network,
The REMI (Microbiology Network)
The RSL: Lagoon Monitoring Network that carries out both biological and chemical monitoring on Mediterranean lagoons,
There are also several regional surveillance networks, health surveillance networks such as networks operated by partners for a specific purpose (Maritime Ports Network for example).
