Cycling classification of roads in Skåne
Description
Cycling classification of roads in Skåne is a classification of car and bicycle road networks from the National Road Database (NVDB). The aim is to classify all roads according to how good they are to ride on from a road safety perspective. By doing so, it improves the ability to create good bike maps and to make better mass routes, for example in analyses or models.
The following classifications are the result:
C1, Asphalted cycle path
C2, Not paved cycle path
C3, Bicycle Fields
B1, Really low or narrow road
B2, low-traffic road
B3, Road that is doubtful suitable for cycling
B4, Road not recommended for cycling
B5, Road with prohibition of cycling
G1, Gravel road with assumed higher standards
G2, Other gravel road
