Agricultural suitability of soil series in Flanders
Description
This tabular file contains all the suitability figures published in the context of the Belgian soil mapping for the soil series (legendaries of the Belgian soil map 1:20,000) in the explanatory texts that accompany the printed soil map sheets. The data are extracted from explanatory texts published in Dutch. The area covered by this is broadly similar to the Flemish Region. These eligibility figures were established in the period between 1949 and the end of the 1970s. The crops assessed must be placed in this historical context.
