UWWTP sludge application agricultural parcels, year 2018
Description
The mapping included in this service contains the location of agricultural parcels where sludge produced in treatment stations treating domestic or urban waste water has been applied and in other treatment plants treating waste water of similar composition, as well as septic tank waste sludge and other similar wastewater treatment facilities, as provided for in Council Directive 86/278/EEC of 12 June 1986, on the protection of the environment and, in particular, of soils, the use of sewage sludge in agriculture and Royal Decree 1310/1990 of 29 October 1990 regulating the use of sewage sludge in the agricultural sector. These data have been obtained from the National Sludge Registry, the content of which was established in Order AAA/1072/2013 of 7 June 2013 on the use of purification sludge in the agricultural sector.
