Description
Agglomerations are concentrated settlements with at least 200 inhabitants. Statistics Sweden develops boundaries for urban areas using register data, such as Statistics Sweden's register of total population (RTB), Statistics Sweden's business register and Lantmäteriet's property map and coordinated building registers. Open geodata are displayed as polygons and up to 2015 urban areas have been updated every five years. Since 2016, they have been updated every three or two years.
