Description
The base of the Upper Bunt sandstone at the border from the lower to the middle trias is marked by the red salt. However, it is only preserved in the eastern part of the study area in edge sinks of salt structures. Further west there is no redness due to the late Jurassic to Cretaceous erosion. The eastern salt wall of Liane/Linda also interrupts the strata sequence. The low altitude generally increases from north to south and reaches its maximum in the edges of Linda/Liane. High altitudes are mainly located in the area of the salt cushion Hulda.
