Description
Land Use Plan of the Municipality of Bremen:
According to the Building Code (BauGB), the land use plan is the preparatory and thus the overarching land use plan of a municipality. The procedure for drawing up the land use plan is regulated in the Building Code (BauGB). The land use plan presents the current and planned land use, according to the foreseeable needs of the municipality, for the entire municipal area in the broad outlines. The representations of the land use plan form the basis for the detailed determinations of the use of the land, since the development plans to be drawn up for sub-areas of the municipality (binding land use planning) are to be developed from the land use plan. The land use plan is binding only for the municipality and the public planning authorities.
