Biosphere Reserves (BSR) with moorland
Description
Digital national overview map of all geometries of the Lower Saxony Elbe Valley Biosphere Reserve, which is protected by law in Lower Saxony. The Biosphere Reserve (BSR) extends over about 90 current kilometres from Schnackenburg to Hohnstorf near Lauenburg.The geometries of the data set are identical to those of the representation of the BSR in accordance with the MU map service. Only the title and the description indicate the peat reference, as the BSR has a significant proportion of peat (carbon-rich soils with significance for climate protection according to BHK50 [LBEG] and additional peat biotopes according to biotope type mapping [NLWKN]).
