Description
The map shows the sampling locations for monitoring radioactivity in groundwater and raw water; Raw water is untreated, not yet purified or treated water. The data are collected within the framework of the Integrated Measurement and Information System (IMIS) by the federal states on behalf of the federal government (see [http://www.bfs.de/DE/themen/ion/notfallschutz/messnetz/imis/imis_node.html]. The points shown represent the respective administrative unit (municipality).
