Description
The dataset contains information on geology in the Free State of Saxony. The data set of the map compiles the geological solid and loose rock units on a scale of 1: 25,000 off. The data set provided is a section of the overall map. The INSPIRE-compliant implementation of the other map areas is currently in progress. Incomplete information on stratigraphy and/or petrography of individual surfaces is gradually completed. A uniformly gray signature marks the incompletely assigned features. The dataset is usable on a scale smaller than 1 : 10.000. The map set is one of 7 geological maps, which is provided for the territory of the Free State of Saxony in each case in its own map services INSPIRE-compliant.
