Group Layers: Climate Analysis — Map Planning Recommendations Regional Planning
Description
In the climate analysis NRW, the climatic situation is comprehensively recorded in NRW, as well as the (thermally) polluted settlement areas (=active spaces) are identified and demarcated and evaluated from corresponding compensatory areas. The climate analysis was carried out in accordance with the VDI directive 3787, sheet 1. In order to derive recommendations for action in particular for regional planning, it was examined which areas in North Rhine-Westphalia have climate-ecological functions or malfunctions, which have a superlocal and thus regional significance. As a precondition for areas that are to be regarded as significant on a regional scale and thus justify and require regional planning intervention, the combination of a significant climate-ecological significance (emergency or balancing function) and a large number of people affected on a country-wide scale is considered.
